Roles and Responsibilities :

- Role

1. Process Owner – from RM IN to FG OUT till Customer Delivery (including BOP &
- Job Work)

- Defines Line Layout, Process Layout (as per defined PFD)

- Plans Material Flow – from RM IN to FG OUT till Customer Delivery (including BOP &

- Job Work)

- Should be well versed with Lean Mfg. Approach

- Develop manufacturing processes for Press Shop, Weld Shop, Assembly, and Dispatch.

- Ensures Line Balancing (load levelling) in terms Cycle Time &

- Workforce (for current as well as existing products)

- Material movement planning, development & standardisation (bins, trolleys, chuters etc)

- Conducts Gemba reviews to identify imbalance thus eliminates Mura, Muri, Muda





- Scope identification & implementation of Low-Cost Automation along with pay-back calculation

- Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, SMED, Poka-Yoke, and 5S initiatives.

- Conduct manufacturing feasibility studies during RFQ.

- Production Flow, Process Safety &

- Visual Control

- Prepare Process Flow Diagram (PFD), Plant Layout, Line Layout, Material Flow, and Value Stream Mapping. AutoCAD/Layout Planning

- Optimize cycle time, takt time, line balancing, and manpower deployment.

- SMED, Poka-Yoke, Work Cell Review

- Well versed with MS-office & awareness of CAD software’s (UGNX. Catia)
