Role Description The Manager Costing & Pricing will lead the costing and pricing function for crushing and screening equipment, ensuring accurate cost estimation and competitive pricing strategies. This full-time, on-site role is based in Chennai and involves close collaboration with production, procurement, sales, and finance teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and reviewing product cost sheets, analyzing material, labor, and overhead costs, and preparing pricing proposals aligned with business margins and market conditions.

The role will also involve monitoring cost variances,



identifying cost optimization opportunities, supporting tender and bid processes with detailed cost breakdowns, and maintaining updated costing databases and pricing models. The manager will provide regular reports and insights to leadership, contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities, and help establish robust costing policies and procedures.

Qualifications

- Solid expertise in product costing, standard costing, and cost analysis for manufacturing or engineering industries.
- Ability to develop and implement pricing models and strategies based on cost structures, market trends, and margin targets.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, variance analysis, and interpretation of cost-related data for decision support.
- Experience working cross-functionally with production, procurement, sales, and finance to gather and validate cost inputs.
- Advanced skills with spreadsheets and ERP systems for cost tracking, data management, and reporting.
- Solid understanding of industrial manufacturing processes, preferably in heavy equipment or machinery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications in CMA
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work with tight timelines and multiple projects.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex costing and pricing concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in continual cost improvement initiatives and process optimization.
