Role Description The Makeup Artist role is a full-time, in office position based at Shalini Makeup Studio in Ghaziabad.

The Makeup

Artist will provide professional makeup services for bridal, party, engagement, HD, and airbrush looks, ensuring each client receives a personalized and polished appearance. Daily responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their preferences, preparing the skin, applying makeup, coordinating hairstyling as needed,



and maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at the workstation. The role also involves recommending suitable products and services, supporting client bookings, and contributing to a welcoming and professional studio environment. Depending on experience, the Makeup Artist may assist in demonstrations or basic training activities for students and junior staff.

Qualifications

- Professional makeup and cosmetology skills, with experience in bridal, party, and HD/airbrush makeup.
- Proficiency in hairstyling and basic hair care techniques relevant to makeup and beauty services.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to consult, communicate clearly, and manage client expectations.
- Basic sales skills to recommend services and products aligned with client needs.
- Interest or experience in training, mentoring, or demonstrating techniques to aspiring makeup artists.
- Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in a beauty studio environment.
- Relevant certification or diploma in makeup, cosmetology, or beauty therapy is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak wedding seasons.
