VMC Machine Operator

Position: VMC Machine Operator

Department: Production / Manufacturing

Experience: 3–5 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor VMC machines for precision component manufacturing.
- Set machines, tools, fixtures, and work offsets as per production requirements.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and machining specifications.
- Perform tool setting, tool changes, offset corrections, and basic troubleshooting.
- Check component dimensions using vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure production targets and required quality standards are achieved.
- Identify machining defects and take corrective action.
- Maintain proper machine condition, cleanliness, and workplace safety.
- Coordinate with the Production / Quality team for smooth production operations.

Candidate Requirements
- Qualification:



ITI – Machinist / Turner / Fitter or Diploma in Mechanical preferred.
- Experience: 3–5 years of relevant VMC machine operating experience.
- Robust knowledge of VMC machining operations.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Knowledge of tool setting, offsets, cutting parameters, and tool selection.
- Familiarity with G-code / M-code and CNC controls.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
