Quality Management System & Compliance: -

- Maintain ISO 9001:2015 QMS; develop and control quality procedures, SOPs, inspection plans, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with ASTM standards, customer specifications, and safety requirements
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external certification and customer-commissioned audits, maintaining audit readiness and documentation traceability

Manufacturing Quality & Supplier Management: -

- Oversee inspection systems across raw material, in-process, and final product stages, including tensile/load and material testing
- Establish quality control plans for standard and non-standard cable grips/wire mesh grips and other cable accessories
- Evaluate and audit raw material suppliers; set incoming inspection standards for GI wires, stainless steel wires, and other materials
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality deviations and material non-conformities

Problem Resolution & Continuous Improvement: -

- Lead CAPA programs and conduct root cause analysis (8D, Fishbone, 5 Why) for internal defects and customer complaints
- Drive initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and scrap using FMEA, SPC, and Six Sigma




- Track quality KPIs and present performance reports to senior management

Cross-Functional & Strategic Leadership: -

- Partner with Lead - Operations and Lead - Product Development & Engineering to build shared systems and ensure process timelines are followed across functions
- Apply APQP and PPAP frameworks to support new product introductions and design changes
- Contribute quality inputs to management reviews and business planning

Team Development: -

- Lead, mentor, and train the Quality Control team to build capability and ensure consistent execution
- Drive quality awareness across manufacturing

Qualifications :-

- BE/BTech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering
- 12-15 years in manufacturing quality management, including experience in a leadership or functional head capacity
- Robust knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ASTM standards

Technical & Professional Skills :-

- Hands-on experience with tensile/load testing, inspection systems, and quality tools (FMEA, SPC, CAPA, 8D, RCA)
- Working knowledge of APQP and PPAP
- Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder coordination skills
- Fluent in English; Hindi/Marathi preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality management systems
