- The Intelligent Automation team within [insert relevant business segment/unit] focuses on scaling secure, enterprise grade automation and AI driven solutions across the organization.




- We use the Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft AI Services to digitize manual processes, improve customer and employee experiences, and support more efficient, risk aware and data driven operations. The team works closely with business stakeholders, IT, data and risk functions to deliver practical, sustainable automation outcomes.

About this role:

- A great opportunity exists as Intelligent Automation Engineer, reporting to Chapter Lead – Intelligent Automation Engineering.
- In this hands on engineering role, you design, build and support automation and AI solutions using UiPath, Python, JavaScript, REST APIs and Agentic AI. You translate business requirements into secure, robust and maintainable automations, integrations and AI enabled agents, working within an Agile delivery squad.
- You focus on operational delivery rather than defining overall strategy. Your work enables business teams and citizen developers to safely use automation and AI tools within established governance and architectural guardrails, helping the organization scale intelligent automation in a controlled, sustainable way.

Key responsibilities:

- Design, develop and deploy end to end automations using UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, Robots, Agents) to digitize and streamline business processes across multiple systems and applications.
- Implement intelligent automation features using Python, JavaScript and Agentic AI frameworks to enhance bots and services with decisioning, data processing and conversational capabilities.
- Build and maintain integrations between UiPath workflows, custom services and enterprise data/systems (e.g. Snowflake, SQL, Azure services, CRM/ERP) using secure, well designed REST APIs and JSON based interfaces.
- Provide operational support for existing bots and integrations, including monitoring, incident resolution, minor enhancements, scheduling, capacity management and performance tuning.
- Apply secure by design principles, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and CI/CD practices, using tools such as Git and Azure DevOps for version control, code quality checks and automated deployments across environments.
- Produce and maintain clear technical documentation (solution designs, API specifications, runbooks, support guides) to support audit, handover and ongoing maintenance.
- Collaborate in Agile squads with product owners, business analysts, developers and other stakeholders to refine requirements, estimate effort and deliver against agreed priorities.
- Contribute reusable components, libraries,



integration patterns and best practice guidance to support citizen development and ensure solutions built by business users respect agreed guardrails.
- Stay up to date with new capabilities in UiPath, Python, JavaScript ecosystems, REST API standards and Agentic AI tooling, and suggest improvements or new use cases where they add value.
- Ensure the wellbeing of team members and proactively work to identify and manage workplace exposures which may precipitate workplace stress, bullying, harassment, and discrimination.

Important to your success:

- Practical, hands on experience with UiPath in an enterprise context, including designing, developing and deploying attended and unattended robots using Studio and Orchestrator.
- Exposure to Agentic AI concepts and tooling, and an understanding of how to embed AI driven agents into business processes and workflows within responsible AI and governance frameworks.
- Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals: modular design, reusability, maintainability, error handling, logging, testing and secure coding practices in Python and JavaScript.
- Experience with CI/CD, ALM and DevOps practices for automation and integration solutions, ideally using Azure DevOps and Git for version control, pipelines and workplace management.
- Foundational knowledge of data and integration concepts, including REST APIs, JSON, OAuth and integration with data platforms such as Snowflake, SQL or other cloud data stores.
- Familiarity with cloud concepts and relevant Azure services (e.g. Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, messaging services) used alongside UiPath, custom APIs and AI agents.
- Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban), with the ability to translate business requirements into user stories and technical designs, and to communicate clearly with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Strong sense of ownership, reliability and attention to detail, with the ability to balance new development work and ongoing support for existing automations and integrations.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new UiPath, Python, JavaScript and Agentic AI features, share knowledge, and contribute to communities of practice and continuous improvement initiatives.
