About the Role

We are looking for a capable and proactive Manager - Legal to join our team in India. The role will primarily focus on managing litigation, arbitration, claims, contractual disputes, and other contentious matters operational and project requirements while working closely with the Dubai based team and other relevant stakeholders.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in independently managing disputes through their lifecycle, including assessing claims, developing case strategy, drafting and reviewing legal notices and dispute-related documentation, coordinating with external counsel, monitoring proceedings, and supporting settlement negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

- Take ownership of assigned litigation, arbitration, claims, and dispute-related matters and ensure effective and timely management from inception through resolution.
- Conduct an initial assessment of disputes and claims and advise on the Group's legal position, potential exposure, available remedies, and recommended course of action.
- Develop dispute-management strategies in consultation with the Dubai-based Legal team,



relevant business stakeholders, and external counsel.
- Draft, review, and advise on legal notices, demand notices, responses, replies, breach notices, termination notices, settlement agreements, undertakings, and other dispute-related correspondence and documentation.
- Review pleadings, petitions, written statements, affidavits, submissions, statements of claim/defence, and other litigation or arbitration documentation prepared by external counsel.
- Coordinate with and manage external advocates, law firms, arbitrators, experts, and other qualified advisers in India and other jurisdictions.
- Handle and coordinate responses to regulatory notices, inquiries, inspections, investigations, and information requests received from governmental and regulatory authorities.
- Draft and review responses, representations, submissions, and other correspondence to regulatory and statutory authorities.
- Provide legal support to the HR and business teams on employment-related disputes, claims, disciplinary matters, terminations, and other contentious employment issues.
- Advise on applicable employment laws and legal considerations relating to employee grievances, misconduct, disciplinary proceedings, performance-related matters, and separation of employees.

What You Should Bring

- LLB / LLM from a reputed institution with relevant work experience (litigation management) of 6-9 years.
- Extensive legal experience in the Real Estate
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and stakeholder management skills
