Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Lab Technician In-Charge to oversee day-to-day laboratory activities, maintain quality standards, and ensure accurate and timely processing of laboratory samples and reports.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily laboratory operations and coordinate work among lab staff.
- Perform and monitor routine laboratory tests as per established procedures.
- Ensure proper sample collection, labeling, handling, processing, and storage.
- Maintain laboratory records, registers, reports, and documentation.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate routine maintenance and calibration.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and laboratory quality procedures.
- Ensure adequate availability and proper storage of reagents, consumables, and supplies.
- Review test results for accuracy before reporting and escalate discrepancies when required.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments regarding laboratory requirements.
- Train and guide junior laboratory staff on procedures and safety practices.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization,



and compliance within the laboratory.
- Support internal quality checks and audits.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and sample handling.
- Good understanding of laboratory safety and quality practices.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate a laboratory team.
- Valuable documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a clinical healthcare environment.
- Basic computer knowledge.

Qualification
- B.Sc. / DMLT / MLT or relevant laboratory qualification.
- Relevant experience in a hospital, diagnostic center, fertility center, or clinical laboratory is preferred.

- Comfortable handling laboratory operations independently.
