Role Overview

At Magure, we're building AI-powered products and enterprise solutions that enable organizations to transform how they operate through intelligent automation, modern AI technologies, and cloud-native platforms. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, automate, maintain, and optimise the infrastructure and deployment ecosystem supporting our AI-powered products and enterprise solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across cloud platforms, containerisation, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, GitOps, monitoring, networking, and Linux administration. You will work closely with AI, Engineering, QA, Product, and Infrastructure teams to ensure our applications are deployed reliably, securely, and efficiently across development, staging, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Operations

- Design, deploy, maintain, and optimise cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Manage cloud-based compute, networking, storage, security, and application infrastructure.
- Ensure infrastructure is scalable, highly available, secure, and reliable.
- Monitor cloud resource utilisation, performance, availability, and operational health.  Troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues across cloud environments.

Containerisation & Kubernetes

- Build, manage, and optimise containerised applications using Docker.
- Deploy and manage workloads on Kubernetes clusters.
- Work with Kubernetes Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Namespaces, and resource configurations.
- Implement and maintain reliable deployment practices for production workloads.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Create reusable Terraform configurations and modules for cloud infrastructure.
- Manage infrastructure changes through controlled, version-controlled workflows.
- Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual intervention through automation. CI/CD & Release Management
- Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and/or CircleCI.
- Automate application build, testing, packaging, and deployment workflows.




- Integrate CI/CD pipelines with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git repositories.
- Implement deployment strategies including automated rollbacks and controlled releases.
- Work closely with development and QA teams to improve software delivery velocity and reliability.

GitOps & Deployment Automation

- Implement and manage GitOps-based deployment workflows using Argo CD.
- Maintain application deployment configurations and ensure infrastructure and application changes are properly version controlled.
- Monitor deployment health and troubleshoot failed or inconsistent deployments.
- Support continuous delivery practices across development, staging, and production environments.

Monitoring, Logging & Observability

- Implement and maintain monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Datadog.
- Create dashboards, alerts, and monitoring mechanisms for infrastructure and applications.
- Analyse logs, metrics, and system behaviour to identify performance issues and potential failures.
- Establish proactive monitoring for critical production services.
- Participate in incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and resolution of production issues.

Networking & Security

Troubleshoot and manage infrastructure-level networking issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs, ports, and network connectivity.

- Work with cloud networking components and security controls.
- Support secure communication between applications, services, databases, and external systems.
- Follow security best practices for infrastructure, cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and access management.

Linux & System Administration

- Manage and troubleshoot Linux environments, particularly Ubuntu and CentOS.
- Perform system-level troubleshooting involving processes, services, permissions, networking, storage, and resource utilisation.
- Work with Windows environments where required.
- Automate system administration and operational activities through scripting and tooling.

Cross-functional Collaboration

- Collaborate closely with AI, Engineering, QA, Product, Security, and Infrastructure teams.
- Support development teams in designing applications that are deployment-ready and operationally reliable.
- Participate in production deployments, incident management, release activities, and operational improvements.




- Document infrastructure architecture, deployment procedures, troubleshooting steps, and operational processes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Argo CD and GitOps-based deployment practices.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and/or CircleCI.
- Good working knowledge of Git and modern version control practices.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs, and networking fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and/or Datadog.

Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems, particularly Ubuntu and/or CentOS.
- Working knowledge of Windows environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical teams.

Good to Have

- Experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
- Experience managing production Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience with cloud-native architecture and microservices.
- Understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP IAM and security practices.
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Kubernetes security, networking, and resource optimisation.
- Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity.
- Experience with cloud cost optimisation.
- Knowledge of Helm and Kubernetes package management.
- Experience with Ansible or other configuration management tools.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS/Azure/GCP, CKA, CKAD, or HashiCorp Terraform Associate.
- Exposure to AI/ML workloads and deployment of AI applications in cloud environments.
