About The Role The Associate Architect - Java at Quantiphi is a critical technical leadership role responsible for designing, developing, and modernizing enterprise Java applications. This position involves engaging with clients to understand their technical requirements, providing consultation, and ensuring the successful implementation of solutions that meet business objectives.

The role requires a deep understanding of Java application modernization, cloud architecture, and API integration, along with the ability to guide and mentor development teams.

The Associate

Architect will play a pivotal part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions, aligning with industry best practices and emerging trends.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Java application development and architecture. A strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is preferred.

Proven expertise in Java application modernization, including upgrading legacy systems to newer Java LTS versions (Java 17/21/25), is essential. Candidates must have hands-on experience with enterprise-level software development,



web applications using J2EE/Spring Boot, and API integration. Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS, and automation tools like AWS Transform Custom (ATX) is advantageous.

Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Connect with clients to gather project requirements, provide technical consultation, and conduct installation and project close-out reviews.
- Support the design, development, enhancement, and modernization of enterprise Java applications, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry standards.
- Manage customer demands effectively to maximize satisfaction while maintaining high quality standards.
- Negotiate project specifications, resources, and infrastructure requirements with clients, and assist in creating comprehensive technical documentation.
- Supervise activities between internal teams and external resources, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery of services.
- Evaluate project data for accuracy, set project targets, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and quality benchmarks.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering skill development and technical excellence.
- Stay updated with the latest industry practices, emerging technologies, and trends to enhance service delivery and innovation.
- Review customer technical demands, identify optimal methods for implementation, and assist teams in maintaining and utilizing delivered materials efficiently.
- Conduct research on new technological trends,



especially in cloud computing and application modernization, to incorporate best practices.
- Ensure APIs are robust, maintainable, and adhere to best coding standards, coordinating with various teams working across different layers of infrastructure.
- Carry out additional technical duties as required, including code reviews, system architecture planning, and troubleshooting.
