We are looking for a Japanese Bilingual Technical Project Manager with 8+ years of IT experience and a strong technical background to manage software/IT projects for Japanese clients. The candidate will act as the communication bridge between Japanese stakeholders and technical delivery teams while ensuring successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end software/IT projects from requirement gathering to delivery.
- Coordinate with Japanese clients and offshore technical teams in Japanese and English.
- Handle project planning, timelines, resource coordination, risks, and issue management.
- Conduct client meetings, prepare project status reports, MOMs, and documentation.
- Support technical discussions, UAT, release,
and deployment activities.
- Ensure projects are delivered within scope, quality, and schedule.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in IT with Project Management experience.
- Solid technical background in Software Development, SDLC, APIs, Cloud, or Enterprise Applications.
- Business-level Japanese communication skills (JLPT N2/N1 preferred).
- Experience working with Japanese clients and cross-functional technical teams.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and tools such as Jira and Confluence is preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT preferred.
