Job Purpose To keep the office, common areas, washrooms and surrounding premises clean, hygienic, safe and well maintained on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sweep floors, corridors, staircases and common areas.
- Mop floors using the appropriate cleaning solution.
- Clean and maintain toilets, wash basins, mirrors and other sanitary areas.
- Dust and wipe tables, chairs, doors, windowsills and other surfaces.
- Empty dustbins and dispose of waste properly.
- Keep drinking-water areas clean and hygienic.
- Clean pantry / tea areas as required.
- Keep cleaning equipment, buckets, mops and other materials clean and properly stored.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and in the correct quantity.
- Report any damaged equipment, leakage, blockage, breakage or other maintenance problem to the supervisor.
- Ensure cleaning materials are not wasted or misused.
- Maintain cleanliness of the premises throughout the working day and attend to spills or urgent cleaning requirements promptly.
- Follow the cleaning schedule and instructions given by the supervisor.
- Maintain personal hygiene and wear the required uniform/PPE while working.
- Perform any other cleaning or housekeeping duties assigned by the supervisor.

Basic Requirements
- Previous housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical cleaning work.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions.
- No formal educational qualification is required.
- Willingness to learn the company's cleaning methods and safety practices.
