We are seeking a dynamic instrumentation intern to join our team at Equinox Labs! As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and gain hands-on experience in the field of instrumentation.

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

- Analysis of drinking water samples
- Assist the laboratory team in testing drinking water samples according to applicable specifications and approved laboratory methods
- Understand the different parameters used to check the quality of drinking water
- Assist in operating laboratory instruments under the guidance of experienced laboratory personnel
- Record test observations and results accurately
- Follow laboratory SOPs and safety procedures while performing testing
- Ensure that samples are properly identified and handled throughout the testing process
- Analysis of food samples, FSSAI/nutritional labelling
- Assist in testing food samples according to applicable FSSAI requirements and laboratory procedures
- Understand the basic testing requirements related to nutritional labelling
- Assist in analyzing parameters such as moisture, protein, fat, ash, carbohydrates, and other applicable nutritional parameters, according to the assigned testing method
- Learn how laboratory test results are used to prepare nutritional information for food labels
- Accurately record observations and test results
- Follow approved testing methods, SOPs, and quality requirements




- Preparation of samples for testing
- Receive and properly identify laboratory samples
- Assist in sample preparation before testing
- Perform activities such as weighing, grinding, homogenization, dilution, filtration, digestion, or other preparation steps as required by the testing method
- Ensure the correct quantity of sample is taken for analysis
- Maintain proper sample identification and traceability
- Keep the work area and equipment clean after sample preparation
- Follow laboratory safety precautions while handling samples, chemicals, and equipment
