We are looking for an experienced RMS professional with hands-on experience in the Institutional / RMS Department and strong knowledge of trading terminals and risk management systems. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day RMS activities, system configurations, monitoring trade/order rejections, troubleshooting, and coordinating with IT and technology vendors to ensure smooth trading operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage BOD (Beginning of Day) and EOD (End of Day) RMS activities.
- Handle OMNESYS NEST / IOB Trading Terminal and perform all related RMS activities.
- Create and modify codes, mappings, client configurations and trading limits.
- Perform limit updation, margin-related configurations and RMS parameter changes.
- Monitor order/trade rejections and independently identify and resolve issues.
- Coordinate with the IT Department and Omnesys support team for technical issues, system enhancements and troubleshooting.
- Conduct UAT testing for system upgrades, new features, patches and RMS changes.
- Participate in mock trading sessions, system testing and implementation activities.
- Perform system checks and ensure readiness of RMS and trading applications before market opening.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day RMS and trading system issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain proper coordination with internal stakeholders for RMS-related queries and requirements.
- Support implementation and testing of new RMS functionalities and system updates.
- Ensure smooth and uninterrupted functioning of RMS systems during market hours.
- Perform other RMS and trading system-related activities as required.
Trading Terminal Knowledge The candidate must have hands-on experience with OMNESYS NEST Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; relevant certification/qualification in financial markets will be an advantage.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in RMS / Institutional Trading Operations.
- Mandatory experience in the RMS / Institutional Department.
- Strong hands-on experience with OMNESYS NEST / IOB.
- Good understanding of RMS processes, trading systems, limits, mappings and order management.
- Ability to independently handle BOD/EOD activities.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of UAT, system testing and implementation processes.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with IT teams, vendors and business users.
- Positive communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be technically strong, detail-oriented and capable of independently managing RMS operations. Experience in a broking/institutional trading setting with exposure to multiple trading terminals and RMS applications will be preferred.
