Dr. Shroff's Charity Eye Hospital
Alwar
Company Description Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital (SCEH) is a century-old institution that combines compassionate care with advanced eye care science. Founded in 1926, it has grown from a single clinic in Daryaganj to one of North India’s largest tertiary eye care institutes, with a network spanning Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand.
Guided by the belief that sight is a human right, SCEH ensures that at least half of all surgeries are non-paying or highly subsidised, offering equal dignity and care to all patients. The organisation operates multiple surgical centres and over 100 vision centres, having served more than 14 million patients in the past decade. Through its SCEH 2.0 initiative, it is investing in research, digital care, and training future eye care leaders across a wide range of services, from cataract and glaucoma to public health and rehabilitation.
