Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area campus. This role oversees end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations for academic, administrative, and support staff.

The Human Resources

Manager will develop and implement HR policies aligned with institutional goals, manage payroll and benefits in coordination with relevant departments, and ensure compliance with labor laws and institutional guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting leadership in workforce planning,



facilitating training and development initiatives, handling grievance resolution, maintaining accurate HR records, and promoting an inclusive, collaborative workplace culture. The role also involves partnering with campus leadership to support change management and organizational development across the institute.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Demonstrated experience in HR policy development, compliance with labor regulations, and HR documentation and reporting.
- Skills in training and development, talent management, and organizational development within an academic or service-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS tools, MS Office, and data-driven HR decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; professional HR certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in education, hospitality, or service industries is preferred, along with a strong commitment to inclusivity and ethical HR practices.
- Ability to work on-site in the Kolkata metropolitan area and manage multiple priorities in a agile institutional setting.
