Role Description The Human Resources Business Partner at The Chennai Silks will serve as a strategic and operational HR advisor to management and employees at the Tiruppur location. This full-time, on-site role includes managing day-to-day HR activities such as implementing HR policies, supporting recruitment processes, and onboarding new team members. The HR Business Partner will handle employee relations matters, facilitate performance management cycles, and guide leaders on people-related decisions.

The role also involves ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, coordinating employee engagement initiatives,



and partnering with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational development.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) operations and HR Policies, with experience applying them in a retail or similar setting.
- Demonstrated ability in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, employee engagement, and supporting a positive workplace culture.
- Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law relevant to the region, with ability to ensure policy and practice compliance.
- Experience with Performance Management, including goal setting, feedback processes, and performance reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; qualified HR certification is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and leadership.
- Ability to work on-site in Tiruppur, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Experience in retail or textile industry HR is preferred but not mandatory.
