House Manager –

Location: Malabar Hill, Mumbai

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: Full-time / As per household requirements

Salary: Up to ₹60,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible House Manager to oversee the smooth day-to-day management of a private residence in Malabar Hill, Mumbai. The ideal candidate should be well-organized, trustworthy, proactive, and capable of coordinating household staff, vendors, maintenance, and daily activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the residence.
- Supervise and coordinate household staff, including cooks, drivers, housekeeping, security, and other support staff.
- Plan and monitor daily household activities and schedules.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, maintenance teams, and external agencies.
- Ensure the residence is maintained in a clean, organized, and well-functioning condition.
- Manage household inventory, groceries, supplies, and regular purchases.
- Monitor maintenance, repairs, and utility-related requirements.
- Maintain records of household expenses and assist with basic budgeting.
- Coordinate arrangements for guests, meetings, family events, and special occasions.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned household tasks and follow up with staff/vendors.




- Handle household matters with complete discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Identify and resolve day-to-day household issues proactively.

Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a House Manager, Estate Manager, Residence Manager, or in a similar role.
- Experience managing household staff and multiple vendors.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently.
- Trustworthy, discreet, and professional in handling confidential matters.
- Comfortable working Monday to Saturday and according to household requirements.
- Candidates with experience working in private residences / HNI households will be preferred.
