Job Summary

We are looking for a Hindi Content Writer with excellent command over written Hindi, strong grammatical knowledge, and good translation skills. The candidate should be comfortable working with AI tools for content creation, translation, proofreading, and research, while having the ability to independently verify and improve AI-generated content.

A key requirement for this role is a strong understanding of authentic Hindi vocabulary and usage. The candidate should be capable of identifying words of Urdu/Persian origin commonly used in conversational Hindi and, where required, replacing them with appropriate standard/original Hindi alternatives while keeping the content natural and easy to understand.

Key Responsibilities

- Write clear, engaging, and grammatically accurate content in Hindi.
- Translate content from English to Hindi while preserving the original meaning, tone, and context.
- Proofread and edit Hindi content for grammar, spelling, sentence structure, vocabulary, and readability.
- Maintain consistency in terminology and language style across all content.
- Identify inappropriate or excessive use of Urdu/Persian vocabulary and suggest suitable standard Hindi alternatives wherever required.
- Ensure translations are contextual and natural, rather than literal word-to-word translations.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and other content/translation tools to improve productivity.
- Review AI-generated translations and content carefully instead of relying on AI output without verification.




- Research terminology and references when required to ensure content accuracy.
- Coordinate with the content and creative teams for corrections, updates, and final approvals.
- Handle content for apps, games, educational material, social media, notifications, promotional content, and other digital platforms as required.

Required Skills

- Excellent command over Hindi grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and sentence construction.
- Strong English-to-Hindi translation skills.
- Ability to differentiate between standard Hindi and Urdu-influenced vocabulary.
- Good understanding of formal as well as simple, conversational Hindi.
- Experience using AI tools for writing, translation, proofreading, and research.
- Ability to identify and correct mistakes in AI-generated Hindi content.
- Strong proofreading and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to write content that is simple, natural, culturally appropriate, and easy for users to understand.
- Basic proficiency in English for understanding source content and communicating with the team.

Preferred Candidate

- Prior experience as a Hindi Content Writer, Translator, Editor, or Proofreader.
- Experience working with digital content, educational content, apps, media, or publishing will be an advantage.
- Candidates with a solid academic background in Hindi language, literature, journalism, mass communication, or a related field will be preferred.
