Responsibility:

- Leads an organization's quality strategy.
- Ensuring the quality of the product is in line with customer requirements.
- Manage compliance standards, and oversees quality assurance systems to ensure products or services meet strict benchmarks.
- Responsible for new product/process developments in line with customer requirements.
- Responsible for effective implementation of process control requirements.
- Maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) like ISO 9001, serving as the primary management representative for internal and external audits.
- To prepare & ensure implementation of Quality System in the department.
- Identification of Training Needs of all the employees in the department.




- To take management programs and to ensure safety practices are followed.

Accountability:

- Accountable for Setting Quality Objectives & Target
- Accountable for Customer Complaints / Customer returns

Authority:

- To hold production at any stage if the quality of the product is not conforming to the requirements.
- To endorse diversion plan of final product.
- To allow dispatch of only those products that meets the conformity criteria.
- To approve current vendors for raw material.
- To approve and issue inspection standards, procedures
