Key Responsibilities

Refine and strengthen the brand's design vision and creative direction that builds on our existing design strength while bringing in contemporary design language.

Develop annual and seasonal design strategies aligned with business objectives.

Ensure that the collections reflect changing consumer preferences, lifestyle trends and luxury market expectations while retaining the brand DNA.

Build a balanced portfolio across customer segments and price points in line with the product architecture.

Study domestic and international jewellery trends, fashion movements, customer behaviour, and competitor offerings.

Translate market intelligence into creative product concepts by identifying emerging opportunities in design aesthetics, materials, finishes, setting techniques and craftsmanship.

Ensure every collection reinforces the brand's identity and premium positioning.

Liaise with Merchandising, Manufacturing and Product development teams to align collections with category strategies and market demand in line with the brand HR/RCD/ D&PD; calendar.

Collaborate with Marketing on brand shoots, product storytelling, campaign themes, launches, catalogues, and visual merchandising.

Motivate and guide Retail teams with new,



relevant design collections and product knowledge through collection presentations.

Review prototypes and production samples to ensure they meet design expectations, defined merchandising metrics and quality standards.

Define and drive strict design standards, approval processes and collection development timelines while providing direction on product refinement where necessary

Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and design excellence in the team that enables the creation of fresh and relevant jewellery collections.

Encourage continuous learning through exposure to global trends, exhibitions, and industry best practices.

Skills:

Proven leadership experience in premium / luxury jewellery industry

Strong Leadership skills and excellent stake-holder management abilities

Highly creative and innovative with proven design skills

Strong commercial understanding and sensibilities

Ability to work to tight deadlines and briefs

Freehand drawing, 2D drawing, and technical drawing skill

Proven experience in use of AI and automation tools for design, content creation and visual storytelling for retail and online channels

Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes
