Global FinOps Product Manager
Within the Global Cloud department, the FinOps Product Manager is responsible for translating FinOps strategy into actionable product delivery, ensuring that FinOps capabilities, tools, and practices deliver measurable business value across all regions.
The FinOps Product Manager acts as the bridge between business stakeholders, FinOps experts, and delivery teams, driving prioritization, backlog execution, and continuous improvement of FinOps products (tooling, dashboards, processes, and optimization frameworks). This role operates in a global environment across all Sodexo regions and is responsible for fostering FinOps adoption, maturity, and culture throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Ownership & Delivery
- Own and manage the FinOps product backlog, ensuring alignment with the global FinOps strategy and business priorities.
- Translate FinOps requirements into delivery roadmaps, structured into features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business value, cost optimization opportunities, standardization, automation, and strategic impact.
- Act as Product Owner within Agile/SAFe teams, supporting sprint planning, reviews, and delivery tracking.
- Ensure the successful end-to-end delivery of FinOps capabilities through tools such as Cloudability, Turbonomic, Apptio IT Billing, and Power BI dashboards.
- Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement based on user feedback and business outcomes.
2. Stakeholder Management & FinOps Reporting
- Serve as the primary interface between FinOps stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Partner with Cloud, Engineering, Application, and outsourcing teams to:
- Ensure transparency through clear reporting and KPI tracking.
- Identify and communicate optimization opportunities.
- Align FinOps initiatives with operational and financial objectives.
- Promote FinOps adoption, best practices, and culture across regions and entities.
- Prepare and present executive-level FinOps reports and performance indicators.
3. Governance, Standardization & Global Exceptions Management
- Lead the definition, implementation, and governance of key FinOps standards.
- Ensure continuous forecasting, budget tracking, and financial visibility processes are in place.
- Maintain and promote FinOps Golden Standards documentation.
- Define, review, and manage FinOps-by-default exceptions at a global level.
- Participate in risk assessments and strategic decision-making related to FinOps initiatives.
- Support the development of FinOps policies, governance frameworks, and decision models.
- Drive continuous improvement by embedding FinOps practices into application lifecycles, cloud operations, and project governance.
- Support application teams in identifying and implementing strategic cost-saving initiatives

Community Development & Enablement
- Actively contribute to the Global FinOps community.
- Support training programs, workshops, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Promote FinOps awareness and capability development across all stakeholder communities
Education
- Master's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience
- Total 10 years of experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Project Lead, Product Owner, or similar leadership role.
- Experience working in Agile and SAFe environments.
- Experience in cloud cost management, IT financial management, or FinOps practices is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications
- FinOps Certified Practitioner certification.
- Knowledge of IBM Cloud cost management tools, including:
- Cloudability
- Turbonomic
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Power BI and IT financial management platforms.
