Role Description The German Language Trainer will deliver engaging German language instruction to students preparing for study abroad programs, focusing on speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting lessons, preparing teaching materials, assessing learner progress, and providing individualized feedback to help students meet language proficiency requirements. The trainer will also guide students on exam preparation (such as Goethe/TELC or TestDaF),



support cultural orientation, and coordinate with counselors to align language training with students’ academic timelines.

This is a contract, hybrid role based in Gurugram, with a mix of in-person classes at the office or partner institutes and some work-from-home teaching or content preparation.

Qualifications

- Strong Language Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience instructing German to learners at varying levels.
- Ability to design effective Lesson Planning and Education strategies tailored to study abroad requirements.
- Background in Literature or German studies that supports advanced language and cultural instruction.
- Proficiency in German (minimum B2/C1 level or equivalent certification) and solid command of English for clear communication.
- Relevant degree or diploma in German language, education, or related field; teaching certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience preparing students for standardized German language exams and familiarity with German academic culture.
- Solid interpersonal skills, patience, and a learner-focused approach, with the ability to work in a hybrid setup in Gurugram.
