Description This position offers an experienced AI/ML engineer the opportunity to transform enterprise data and legacy systems into AI-enabled capabilities at SP Global. The role involves collaboration with business partners and product teams to deliver measurable business outcomes using up-to-date cloud-native AI/ML solutions on AWS.

Role: Software Development Engineer AI/ML

Experience

- 10+ years of overall software development experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning or AI application development
- Proven track record of delivering production-grade AI/ML solutions

Qualification

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical discipline

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI/ML solutions leveraging cloud-native architectures on AWS
- Apply techniques across the AI/ML lifecycle including data engineering, model development, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and production support
- Collaborate closely with internal business partners, data stakeholders, software engineers, and product teams
- Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models, AI applications, and algorithms to solve complex business problems
- Work with cross-functional teams including data scientists,



software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools to improve developer productivity, code quality, documentation, and automated testing
- Ensure alignment with responsible AI practices and enterprise standards
- Improve code quality, model governance, operational readiness, scalability, and delivery efficiency

Additional Responsibilities

- Translate complex business problems into technical challenges solvable by AI/ML techniques
- Communicate technical ideas, model outcomes, and AI/ML approaches effectively to non-technical audiences
- Work effectively in team-oriented and agile environments
- Maintain a curious and open-minded attitude toward new technologies and methodologies
- Demonstrate strong ownership mindset driving initiatives from concept through delivery
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging, model evaluation, performance tuning, and optimization

Nice To Have

- Backend development experience in C# or Java
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, or OpenSearch
