We are looking for a GCP Developer with 3-5 years of experience in cloud-based data engineering and application development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Python, and GCP-native data services.

The candidate should be comfortable developing data pipelines, writing SQL queries, integrating GCP services, and working with workflow orchestration tools such as Cloud Composer/Airflow.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain data pipelines and cloud-based applications using GCP services.
- Write and optimize SQL queries in BigQuery for data transformation, analysis, and reporting.
- Develop Python-based applications, scripts, and data-processing solutions.
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Dataflow.
- Work with Pub/Sub for event-driven and messaging-based solutions.
- Develop and manage workflows using Cloud Composer / Apache Airflow.
- Work with Cloud Storage (GCS) for data ingestion, storage, and processing.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize GCP workloads and data pipelines.
- Implement appropriate error handling, logging, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, analysts,



and other stakeholders.
- Follow coding standards, security practices, and CI/CD processes.

Required Skills
- 3-5 years of professional software/data engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Robust experience with BigQuery and SQL.
- Good programming experience with Python.
- Experience with one or more of:

- Google Cloud Dataflow

- Google Cloud Pub/Sub

- Cloud Composer

- Apache Airflow

- Google Cloud Storage
- Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline development.
- Good understanding of cloud computing and distributed data processing.
- Experience with Git and basic CI/CD concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
- Experience with REST APIs.
- Familiarity with GCP IAM, service accounts, and security concepts.
- Exposure to monitoring tools such as Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.
