Mood Labs runs party games and live event experiences across restaruants, bars, corporate offsites, and private parties in Mumbai. We're building a roster of Game Masters to run these on the ground.
What you'll do
- Run our game formats live - Board game nights, murder
- Set up and break down game stations before/after each event
- Explain rules fast, keep the energy up, keep the group moving through the format
- Read the room - a wedding crowd, a bar crowd, and a corporate group all need different pacing
- Handle guest questions and troubleshoot on the spot
What we're looking for
- Comfortable speaking to a crowd and holding attention
- Explains rules clearly without over-explaining
- Enjoys board games and is comfortable conducting them
- Reliable - shows up on time, handles logistics without hand-holding
- Based in Mumbai, able to travel to venues across the city
- Available evenings/nights and weekends - that's when most events run
Positive to have
- Experience as an MC, host, camp counselor, teacher, or improv/theatre background
- Comfortable with high-energy, physical formats
- Own transport
Setup: Freelance, paid per event. Rate depends on event length and format. No fixed hours or commitment - you pick up events based on your availability.
