At Involve, we’re on a mission to bring students to the center of their own learning journeys. They envisioned classrooms where students weren’t just passive listeners, but active participants—teaching, mentoring, leading, and growing together.

Today, that vision is alive and growing, and we are working with government schools in six Indian states. Our core program, Peer Teaching, trains senior students to mentor their juniors in foundational skills like reading and math. But it’s about more than academics—it’s about building confidence, communication, problem-solving, and agency. Because we believe agency is the key to breaking cycles of inequality and helping young people truly own their futures.

About the Role

As a Fundraising & Finance Associate, you’ll play a critical role in strengthening Involve’s fundraising and financial operations. You’ll support the identification of new fundraising opportunities, coordinate proposals and donor/grant reporting, maintain donor relationships, and ensure the smooth functioning of our fundraising systems. Alongside this,



you’ll manage day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate records, support audits and compliance, and help strengthen financial processes and systems.

We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, organised, and comfortable working across both fundraising and finance, with a strong commitment to building robust systems that enable Involve to advance its mission.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prospect Research & Pipeline Development

- Support research of CSR companies, domestic & international foundations, and grant opportunities aligned with Involve's priorities

- Execute structured outreach, including emails, follow-ups, and meeting requests

- Support building first drafts of proposals, concept notes, budgets, grant applications and supporting documents

- Maintain and regularly update the fundraising pipeline in Zoho CRM

2. Donor Management, Reporting & Engagement

- Co-ordinate managing & strengthening donor relationships, visits, field exposure, events, conferences and corporate volunteering engagements.

- Coordinate donor/grant reporting, impact decks, one-pagers, annual/quarterly reports and required compliance documentation.

3. Financial Operations, Budgeting & Reporting

- Manage day-to-day financial operations including transactions, invoices, reimbursements, payroll coordination, bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking.

- Support organisational/project budgets, expenditure monitoring, Management Information Systems, donor financial reporting and donation receipts.

4. Compliance, Audit & Process Improvement

- Support statutory and donor compliance, including GST, TDS, PF, Income Tax requirements and statutory/donor audits.

- Work with Program, Fundraising, HR,



and Operations teams to strengthen financial controls, documentation, systems, and processes while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Technical Skills Required

- Strong working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, including data cleaning, pivot tables, lookups and basic financial analysis.

- Strong PowerPoint and proposal formatting skills.

- Basic understanding of Development Sector, CSR, philanthropy, and nonprofit fundraising.

- Familiarity with grant portals and online research tools is preferred.

- Knowledge of statutory compliances (FCRA, GST, TDS, PF, Income Tax) preferred.

You Should Have

Experiance

- 0–2 years of experience in fundraising, CSR partnerships, business development, sales, client relationship management, consulting, finance management or the development sector.

- Fresh graduates with exceptional internships, a learning attitude and strong communication skills may also be considered.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in B.Com, BBA/BMS/BBM/Economics preferred
- Candidates from other disciplines with relevant experience in fundraising, finance, operations, or data management may also apply.

Location : Bangalore (Fluency in English is essential; Hindi is preferred.)

Compensation: CTC: 3.6 TO 4.8 LPA
