About Chai & Pixels

Chai & Pixels is a branding and marketing practice in Kochi. From Kochi, not only for it. Consultant, agency, and studio in one. We are hiring founder's office interns to sit close to the founders and to the work itself.

What this is

Three things in one seat: make, think, run. You make content and creative. You think through research, teardowns, and the strategy under a piece. You run the studio's own operating rhythm so nothing slips. Some weeks lean one way, some the other, and over a month you touch all three.

You work on the real material, not a briefed-down intern project. When client work is on, you are inside it. When it is not, you are running our own channels, and that is not downtime. It is the point. Our own feed is the clearest evidence of what we sell.

Concretely

- Make: hold the weekly cadence on our Instagram and LinkedIn. Plan, shoot, edit, and ship short reels and carousels on a fixed schedule. Appear in your own where it fits, on camera when the piece calls for it.
- Think: do teardown research. Pull the data and the receipts a piece is built on. Every number we publish carries its method, and you will learn to work that way.
- Run: keep the calendar, the asset library, and the near-ready drafts in order, so the rhythm holds without anyone chasing it.

In return

You see the whole loop from inside the room: the data, the decision, the make, the publish. You sit next to two founders building a studio from the numbers up, and you get the range that comes with it. Brand, creative, research, client work,



and the business behind them. Most of that is invisible from a normal first job.

Who this is for A recent graduate, out of college in the last year or two, who would rather learn inside a young studio than a large one. You can write a clean sentence, cut a watchable reel, and read a chart without being told what it says. Give you "find out why this campaign worked" and you come back with the next steps, not a question. Taste matters more than a portfolio. A portfolio helps.

What you'll need

- Research that ends in a view, not a folder of tabs. You pull the data and come back with what it means.
- Clean writing. Notes, captions, and decks that do not need a second pass to land.
- Enough comfort with numbers to read a pricing question or a P&L; line without flinching.
- The hands to make: shoot and cut a watchable reel, and build a slide deck and a spreadsheet without help. Design or motion skill is a real plus, not a footnote.
- A recent degree in business, economics, design, communications, or near it. Equivalent self-taught work counts for as much.

Terms

- Location: Kochi. Hybrid
- To start: an internship, 3 months. Short and real, low commitment on your side.
- After: it can convert to full time.
- Stipend: ₹5,000 a month to start, open to revisit as the work proves itself. It tracks what you ship, not the hours you keep.
