nWe are looking for a Finance Controller to build and own our end-to-end financial operations as we scale rapidly. This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and business strategy.

nYou will be responsible for:

- Bringing financial discipline
n
- Ensuring clean processes (PO–GRN–Invoice–Payment)
n
- Managing vendor payments and cash flow
n
- Building actionable MIS across product, category, and operations
n

nThis is a high ownership role with direct visibility to the founder and leadership team.

nKey Responsibilities

n1. Financial Control & Process Setup

n

n
- Establish and enforce 3-way matching (PO–GRN–Invoice)
n
- Build and streamline purchase-to-payment workflows
n
- Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping and reconciliations
n
- Maintain clean vendor ledgers and expense tracking systems
n
- Drive audit readiness and compliance processes
n

n2. Vendor Payments & Cash Flow Management

n

n
- Prepare and manage weekly payment plans
n




- Prioritise vendor payments based on cash flow and business needs
n
- Handle vendor communication for payment timelines and negotiations
n
- Ensure no duplicate or incorrect payments
n
- Improve and manage working capital cycles
n

n3. MIS & Business Insights

n

n
- Build and own weekly/monthly MIS dashboards
n
- Track:
n
- SKU-level margins
n
- Category profitability
n
- Raw material cost trends
n
- Wastage and efficiency metrics
n
- Store/channel performance
n
- Translate financial data into actionable insights for business decisions
n

n4. ERP & Data Integrity

n

n
- Own accuracy and structure of ERP/accounting data
n
- Work with internal teams to ensure clean data flows
n
- Build reporting frameworks from ERP outputs
n

n5. Team & Cross-functional Coordination

n

n
- Manage and guide:

- Accounts Executive (data entry)

- Reconciliation Executive

- Work closely with:

nWhat We're Looking For

nExperience

n

n
- 5–8 years in finance roles (FMCG / manufacturing / D2C preferred)
n
- Experience in vendor payments, reconciliations, and MIS reporting
n
- Strong understanding of operational finance
n

nSkills

- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
n
- Comfortable working with ERP systems
n
- Ability to handle vendor conversations confidently

- Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
