About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Associate – MIS & Financial Reporting to join our consulting team. The candidate will work closely with Consultants and support 2–4 client engagements, handling MIS, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

This is a hands-on role with an opportunity to work directly on client assignments and develop strong skills in financial reporting, business analysis and financial modelling.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly MIS reports, including Revenue Analysis, P&L;, Balance Sheet and Working Capital statements.
- Collect, compile and validate financial and operational data from client systems.
- Prepare and maintain financial trackers, databases and reporting schedules.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, operating plans and cash flow forecasts.
- Analyse actual vs. budget performance and highlight key variances and risks.
- Support costing, pricing analysis and project cash flow workings.
- Participate in client and management discussions along with the Consultant.
- Support fundraising and sell-side due diligence assignments, including data room preparation and information requests.
- Assist in preparing schedules and documentation required for annual audits.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely submission of all financial reports.

Required Skills




- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, Lookups and Reconciliations.
- Good understanding of P&L;, Balance Sheet and Working Capital.
- Basic understanding of financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand business data and identify important financial insights.
- Comfortable working with clients and senior team members.

Qualification & Experience
- CA Intermediate / Inter CA – Articleship completed or in progress; OR
- B.Com / M.Com with relevant experience in accounting, MIS or financial reporting.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a CA firm, consulting environment or finance role is preferred.
