nPosition Overview

nWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Controller to lead the Finance & Accounting function.

- The ideal candidate will be a C.A, a strong professional Accountant with the ability to understand all the accounting, control, banking, business processes leading to P&L;, Balance sheet and Cashflow.
n
- Will have overall responsibility for Accounting, Budgeting & controls.
n
- Should have handled banking operations and implemented complete automation and integration of banking transactions.
n
- Must have implemented Fee processes and controls in the ERP environment, including integration with CRM, Payment gateway and Financing partners .
n
- Should be well versed with Student ERP, MS Excel, Tally, Zoho Books and other Academic ERP solutions for finance.
n
- The candidate must possess hands-on compliance routines of all applicable tax laws and regulations applicable to the education sector.
n
- The candidate has to be a valuable team player with humility, service orientation and integrity.

nWe are looking for a candidate from the edtech/education sector.

nKey Responsibilities:

nStrategic Planning: Developing Budgets and financial strategies to monitor Revenues, control Costs and utilisation of Assets, which support growth of profitability.

nFinancial Reporting & Audit co-ordination :



Deliver accurate financial statements and reports for management regular statutory audits.

nRisk management: identifying and managing financial risks that could impact the Institutions' performance. This may involve implementing risk mitigation strategies and compliance with regulatory requirements.

nTreasury management: overseeing the management of the company's banking operations, including cash flow and working capital requirements.

nFinancial analysis: conducting financial analysis to provide insights into the organisation's performance, profitability, and efficiency, including assessing the financial impact of key decisions.

nStrategic decision support: providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making by the executive team and the board of directors.

nCompliance & Risk: Ensuring compliance with financial laws, regulations, and tax planning.

nTeam Leadership: Mentoring the finance/accounting team and fostering a culture of excellence.

nStakeholder Management: Managing relationships with internal School Heads, banks, auditors, vendors and stakeholders.

nKey Qualifications:

n● Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. Certification in ERP or Accounting Systems' implementation is an added advantage.

n● 15+ years of accounting, budgeting, banking, tax compliances, finance systems integration, financial software implementation,.

n● Strong understanding of financial processes, systems, and reporting with excellent data analytical skills.
