Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Field Sales Manager to manage and grow sales across the assigned state for our plastic manufacturing business. The candidate will be responsible for field visits, new customer acquisition, customer relationship management, generating enquiries, taking customer orders, and achieving sales targets. The role requires extensive travel and regular interaction with industrial customers, dealers, distributors, and other business clients.

Candidates with experience in plastic manufacturing, polymer, plastic products, packaging, or other related manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop sales and business opportunities across the assigned state.
- Visit existing and potential customers regularly to generate business.
- Identify new customers and develop long-term business relationships.
- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate product information.
- Generate enquiries and follow up on quotations.
- Take and close customer orders as per company policies and pricing guidelines.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers to generate repeat orders.
- Coordinate with Production, Dispatch, Accounts, and other internal teams for smooth order execution.
- Follow up with customers regarding orders, deliveries,



payments, and other requirements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Identify new markets and potential business opportunities.
- Maintain records of customer visits, enquiries, quotations, orders, and sales.
- Submit regular sales and field-visit reports to management.
- Travel extensively across the assigned state as required.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
- 4–8 years of experience in field sales/B2B sales.
- Experience in plastic manufacturing or related manufacturing industries preferred.
- Proven experience in customer acquisition and order generation.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good customer relationship-management skills.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned state.
- Ability to independently manage customer visits and sales activities.
- Valid driving licence preferred.
