Job Summary To lead Vehicle Architecture definition, integration, and optimization for 3-Wheeler (3W) and 4-Wheeler (4W) vehicle platforms under NPD-CMB.
Responsibilities
- 1. Define and maintain vehicle architecture strategy for 3W and 4W platforms ensuring scalability and modularity
- 1. Lead architecture integration ensuring optimal packaging, ergonomics, and system compatibility across vehicle segments
- 1. Execution of designs meeting QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) timelines for 3W/4W vehicle programs
- 1. Develop current technologies and capabilities in vehicle architecture domain for multi-wheeler applications
- 1. Approve FTO (Freedom to Operate) and IDF (Innovation Disclosure Form) for architecture-related innovations
- 1. Drive platform commonization strategy across 3W and 4W to optimize development costs and time-to-market
- 1. Deployment of CQ (Cost & Quality), PACE (Product Architecture Cost Engineering), and variant designs
- 1. Establishing process standardization within Vehicle Architecture function
- 1. Approve design manuals, architecture standards, and checklists specific to 3W/4W platforms
- 1. Support NPD projects through resource estimation, allocation, and cross-functional coordination
- 1.
Lead architecture trade-off studies balancing performance, cost, weight, and manufacturability
- 1. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements specific to 3W and 4W vehicle categories
- 1. Drive innovation in chassis, BIW (Body-in-White), and structural architecture
- 1. Coordinate with suppliers for architecture-level components and systems integration
