Events & Community Associate — Masters Programmes
Two openings | Full-time | On-site | Gurugram, Haryana
At Tetr College of Business, events are how students meet ideas, leaders, opportunities, and one another. We are hiring two people for one role: Events & Community Associate — Masters Programmes.
You will turn ambitious plans into experiences that feel thoughtful and effortless: owning details before anyone asks, keeping students informed, preparing speakers and partners, and staying calm when reality rewrites the run sheet.
Five-day WFO in Gurugram is non-negotiable. Reasonable WFH exceptions may be approved for genuine exigencies; this is not a routine hybrid role.
What you’ll own
Event delivery — 55%
Plan and execute online, offline, and hybrid experiences for postgraduate students. Build briefs, timelines, run-of-shows, owner matrices, vendor and budget trackers, backup plans, and day-of control rooms. Coordinate speakers, venues, technology, internal teams, and student volunteers. Close the loop with recordings, follow-ups, feedback, and lessons learned.
Community and Circle operations — 25%
Help turn a global cohort into a living community. Run the daily rhythm of Circle, activate conversations around events, welcome students, surface useful questions, and notice who may be getting left behind. Create simple engagement rituals and report what works, what does not, and what should change.
Communications and content — 15%
Write crisp invites, reminders, speaker notes, event pages, WhatsApp and email updates, and post-event recaps. Support simple decks and visual assets that make information easy to understand.
Analytics and sensible automation — 5%
Track attendance, activation, feedback, follow-through, and recurring operational gaps. Use spreadsheets, AI, and lightweight automation to remove repetitive work and improve consistency. AI is an enabler, never a substitute for judgment, verification, taste, or execution.
Success in your first 90 days means documented ownership of a defined event and community calendar; reliable run-of-shows with transparent owners and backups; timely post-event follow-up; useful Circle activation reporting; reusable SOPs; and zero avoidable critical misses caused by unclear ownership or preventable lack of preparation.
What we’re looking for
One to three years of relevant experience is preferred, but it is not an automatic gate. Proof of ownership matters more than a perfect pedigree or job title. You may have worked in events, communities, cohort programmes, education, hospitality, campus initiatives, partnerships, or operations.
You communicate clearly, follow through without being chased, move comfortably between warm student interactions and precise operational detail, escalate real risks early, and recover constructively when plans change. Curiosity about AI and automation is welcome; honesty about how you use them is essential.
Why join Tetr
You will get meaningful autonomy, direct exposure to senior leaders, and the chance to build systems from zero in a dynamic, high-growth environment. You will work with a global student cohort and shape experiences students remember. As our programmes grow, the role may offer opportunities for domestic or international travel, depending on business needs; travel is a possibility, not a guarantee.
