Job Summary

Job Title: Environmental Engineer. Location: Coimbatore. Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in sewage maintenance or wastewater management. Employment Type: Full time. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sewage Treatment Engineer to oversee and manage the operation, maintenance, and compliance of our sewage treatment facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective wastewater management while adhering to environmental regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Sewage System Maintenance: Supervise the operation and maintenance of sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, and related infrastructure. Identify and resolve issues in sewage collection and disposal systems promptly.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and local wastewater management standards. Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely.
- System Monitoring and Reporting: Conduct regular inspections, sampling, and analysis of wastewater to monitor quality. Prepare detailed performance reports and recommend improvements based on data analysis.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and sustainability of sewage systems. Research and adopt new technologies to enhance wastewater treatment processes.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams,



including civil engineers, plant operators, and maintenance personnel. Provide technical guidance and training to ensure effective team performance.
- Safety and Environmental Stewardship: Promote and enforce safety protocols for all sewage operations. Minimize environmental impact through innovative and sustainable practices.

Key Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sewage treatment or wastewater management.
- Strong knowledge of sewage systems, wastewater treatment processes, and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in preparing and analysing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and related technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with advanced wastewater treatment technologies.
- Certification in wastewater treatment or environmental management.
- Familiarity with safety and quality management systems.
