We are looking for an Engineer II Data Analyst to join our Data Integration team. The role will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing data integration and ETL pipelines using Microsoft SQL Server technologies.The successful candidate will work with data from multiple enterprise sources such as ERP systems, CRM applications, databases, files, and APIs, transforming and integrating the data into reliable, analytics-ready data platforms.The role requires strong hands-on expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data integration, along with exposure to Power BI and the Microsoft BI ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Integration & ETL Development

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain SSIS packages and ETL workflows.
- Develop robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from ERP, CRM, databases, flat files, and APIs.
- Perform data cleansing, validation, standardization, enrichment, and transformation based on business requirements.
- Develop both full-load and incremental data ingestion processes.
- Integrate data from SQL Server and other relational databases, files, and external systems.
- Support onboarding and integration of new data sources.
- Implement appropriate error handling, logging, validation, and reconciliation mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL and data integration issues.

2. SQL Server & Data Management

- Develop complex and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and data transformations.
- Perform SQL query and ETL performance tuning and optimization.
- Work with large datasets and perform advanced data analysis and computations.
- Support data warehouse structures and analytics-ready data models.




- Apply data warehousing concepts such as fact tables, dimension tables, star schema, and dimensional modelling.

3. Job Scheduling & Production Support

- Configure and manage SQL Server Agent jobs and ETL schedules.
- Monitor scheduled data loads and ensure timely and successful execution.
- Manage job dependencies and troubleshoot failed or delayed data loads.
- Provide application and data pipeline troubleshooting support.
- Participate in production support and issue resolution as required.

4. BI & Analytics Support

- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Business Analysts, and BI teams to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
- Prepare and structure data for reporting and analytical use cases.
- Support Power BI reporting and dashboard requirements by providing reliable and optimized datasets.
- Work within the Microsoft BI ecosystem and support analytics-ready data structures.

5. Documentation & Data Governance

- Maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, data flows, source-to-target mappings, and transformation logic.
- Maintain data flow diagrams, technical specifications, and release documentation.
- Follow established data governance, data quality, naming standards, security, and version-control practices.

6. Project & Stakeholder Management

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.




- Collaborate with IT teams, Data Analysts, Business Analysts, application teams, and business stakeholders.
- Support application implementation activities including design, SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-production support.
- Participate in continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
- Perform other responsibilities and projects assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 48 years of relevant experience in data integration, ETL, SQL development, data warehousing, or related areas.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong experience in advanced SQL development.
- Hands-on experience in SSIS and ETL development.
- Good understanding of ETL/ELT design patterns and data integration concepts.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with data quality, IT procedures, and application troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Power BI and Microsoft BI technologies.
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric.
- Exposure to Databricks or other modern data platforms.
- Experience integrating data through APIs.
- Experience working with ERP, CRM, or enterprise application data.
- Experience with SQL Server Agent and ETL scheduling.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality practices.

- ITIL certification or exposure to IT service management processes.
