Purpose:

SME Electrical Execution Manager is responsible for construction of Green Filed Data Centre construction projects. This position is responsible for delivering an end-to-end coordination for planning, installation, testing and commissioning of EHV / HV / LV Electrical systems involving highly coordination with other functions such as Civil, Mechanical, BMS and Automation data center engineering works at the project site. It is the duty of this position to ensure all aspects of the electrical project remain on track for set goals of time schedule, quality, Safety, cost and performance parameters.

Key Accountability

- Manage the entire program for Datacenter Low end and High end Electrical works, Installation, testing & commissioning and handover throughout lifetime of Data Center project.
- Work upfront to forecast work schedule, planning of Electrical installations, site level preparations and testing and commissioning plan.
- Study & review of Design intent, SLD, design drawings, 2D/3D models,



schedule of works, shop drawings etc. Critically evaluate the cable schedule, load calculations, equipment specifications, testing and commissioning plans etc and provide feedback to design team.
- Supervise the onsite low end electrical works, participate in acceptance testing (site level / Factory level), evaluate the material submissions and quality & Safety plan before the work is initiated by the Contractors at site.
- Ensure best practices and quality work by contractors. Cost control and Certification of works completed at construction site. Develop and implement strategies and plans to ensure contractor meets or exceeds the project delivery contractually and financially.
- Schedule monitoring, tracking and analysis
- Ensure document control (track and coordinate addenda, bulletins, recent drawing sets, clarifications, etc) process is in place
- Ensure QA/QC is being followed and report any issues/gaps
- Ensure tracking of all key project documents, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, invoices and payments, lien releases, etc is being enforced
- Coordination and management of all Owner-direct vendors working with supply chain and consultants
- Periodic evaluation of safe construction practices by PMC and other vendors
