Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Driver – Logistics to handle company transportation and logistics activities. The candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of materials, finished goods, documents, and other company items while maintaining the vehicle in good condition and following all safety and traffic regulations.

Key ResponsibilitiesDriving & Transportation

- Safely operate company vehicles for official transportation requirements.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, documents, tools, and other authorized company items.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of materials to customers, suppliers, and other locations.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials whenever required.

Logistics & Dispatch Support
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Purchase, Dispatch, and Administration teams.
- Support daily pickup and delivery activities as per operational requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and transporters during material movement.
- Ensure materials reach the destination safely and on time.
- Report any delays or transportation-related issues to the concerned supervisor.

Documentation
- Collect and submit Invoices, Delivery Challans (DC), E-Way Bills, Gate Passes, and other required documents.




- Obtain proper acknowledgment/signatures for delivered or collected materials.
- Maintain accurate trip and delivery records.
- Maintain records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel, and related expenses.

Vehicle Maintenance
- Conduct basic daily checks of the assigned vehicle.
- Check fuel, tyres, brakes, lights, engine oil, coolant, and other basic requirements.
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
- Report vehicle breakdowns, damages, accidents, or maintenance requirements immediately.
- Coordinate for periodic servicing and maintenance of the vehicle.

Safety & Compliance
- Follow all traffic rules and regulations.
- Follow company safety procedures and transportation guidelines.
- Maintain safe driving practices at all times.
- Ensure the safety and security of company materials during transportation.
- Immediately report accidents, traffic violations, or other incidents to management.

General Responsibilities
- Maintain punctuality and discipline.
- Maintain professional and courteous behaviour with customers, suppliers, and company employees.
- Maintain confidentiality of company documents and information.
- Perform other driving and logistics-related duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Qualifications




- Valid Driving Licence applicable to the assigned vehicle.
- 2–5 years of relevant driving experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of Coimbatore and nearby routes.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, logistics, stores, or dispatch operations will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Up to ₹25,000 per month
