Backend Developer – .NET

Location: Navi Mumbai

Work Mode: Onsite (6 Days per week)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our engineering team and build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in .NET Core 6, C#, ASP.NET Web API, Azure services, SQL Server, and microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using .NET Core 6 and C#.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API.
- Design and implement applications based on microservices architecture.
- Work with Microsoft Azure services to develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications.
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and data-access layers.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Integrate backend services with internal and external systems through APIs.
- Troubleshoot production issues and identify root causes.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
- Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and Agile methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience




- Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core 6.
- Good experience developing RESTful services using ASP.NET Web API.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure services.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, database design, SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Experience with API development, integration, authentication, and authorization.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and software design patterns.
- Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and production support.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Positive communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Azure-based application deployment and cloud-native development.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Familiarity with messaging systems and event-driven architectures.
- Understanding of automated testing and unit testing frameworks.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

3+ years of relevant backend development experience, with strong hands-on experience in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
