Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Accounts & Finance a) Department: Finance & Accounts b) Location: Pune c) Reporting To: Business Finance Head d) Qualification: CA Qualified (Mandatory)

e) Experience: 4-8 Years in Manufacturing Industry

Position Purpose - To support the organizations financial performance by ensuring accurate accounting, timely financial reporting, effective budgetary control, statutory compliance, audit management, and robust financial governance. The role is responsible for driving financial discipline, supporting business decision-making through meaningful MIS and analysis, managing CAPEX and fixed assets, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards, taxation requirements, and internal control systems while partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Handle Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

Finalization and monthly closing of books of accounts as per organizational timelines.

Preparation and analysis of Monthly MIS reports for management review.

Perform variance analysis against Budget and Estimates and provide actionable insights.

Ensure timely and accurate capitalization of assets and compliance with accounting standards.

Monitor and control CAPEX expenditure against approved budgets.

Track and control key budgeted financial parameters and cost elements.

Prepare Annual Financial Budget, Forecasts, and Long-Term Financial Plans.

Review, verify, and post monthly payroll entries in coordination with HR and payroll teams.

Calculate and review employee income tax computations and statutory deductions.





Review day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure compliance with accounting policies.

Maintain Fixed Asset Register and conduct periodic physical verification of assets.

Coordinate with Production, SCM, HR, Procurement, and other departments for finance-related activities.

Ensure compliance with Indirect Tax (GST) provisions and guide the team for timely and accurate GST compliance.

Support management decision-making through financial analysis and business insights.

Drive process improvements, internal controls, and compliance initiatives across the plant.

Preferred Skills

Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting, Audits, Budgeting, and MIS.

Hands-on experience in SAP (FI/CO Module preferred).

Sound knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and Fixed Asset Accounting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Advanced Excel and reporting skills.

Experience in Automotive/Auto Component Manufacturing preferred
