- The Deputy Manager – Compliance is responsible for supporting the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the compliance framework.
- Must have knowledge of all local statutory / regulatory requirements applicable to IT sector & willing to learn and deploy the Regulations of European Union such as GDPR, DORA, AI.
- Will be responsible for monitoring and documenting compliance assessments and liaising with Group compliance team whenever required.
- Maintaining the Compliance checklist for each business function and reviewing the compliance adherence levels.
- Reporting to Local and Group colleagues and assisting the team in preparation of reports.
- Should also have strong analytical thinking skills and be able to maintain meticulous records of issues/risks and compliance activities.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Monitoring local legal ecosystem to identify and assess changes in the statutory / regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
- Support the Compliance Officer in advising the organization on regulatory changes and necessary actions.
- Assist maintaining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements .
- Review the internal policies and identify the actionable to effectively implement the policy.
- Updation of the Compliance checklist for each business function.
- Monitoring of changes in local legal & regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance.
- Review of adherence levels of Norms (Company Policies, Guidelines etc) and sharing of outcomes with the Reporting Manager.
- Assisting the team as and when advised by the Management team and Reporting Manager.

Key Competencies &
Skills required:
Technical:
- Have practical experience through an activity in the area of compliance, risk management or auditing of a financial services company, IT company, insurance company or an auditing company.
- General knowledge of the relevant regulatory requirements of an IT company, such as IT Act, Antitrust law, financial sanctions is an added advantage.
- Positive knowledge of IT compliance activities.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Proven track record in the field of compliance Experience of working with any IT firm/financial services industry in the compliance department.
- Experience in insurance sector will be an added advantage.
Experience in managing the compliance activities.
- Experience in managing multiple objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
