Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Field Debt Manager to manage and drive the performance of a team of Field Executives responsible for the recovery of overdue amounts.

The role involves planning and executing field collection strategies, monitoring team performance, ensuring effective customer follow-ups, and maintaining compliance with fair collection practices and applicable legal guidelines.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage and lead a team of ground-level Field Executives for effective recovery of overdue amounts through planned customer visits.
- Plan and execute field collection activities to achieve monthly recovery targets.
- Guide, motivate, and monitor the field team to improve productivity and collection performance.
- Oversee daily activities of Field Executives, including performance tracking, customer visits, and timely follow-ups.
- Personally monitor and conduct visits for high-value and critical accounts wherever required.
- Improve customer contactability through effective follow-up and field strategies.
- Guide the team in skip tracing, loss prevention, foreclosure, and other recovery-related activities, wherever applicable.
- Ensure all collection activities are carried out in accordance with the code of conduct, SOPs, and applicable legal guidelines.
- Monitor team attendance and ensure participation in regular meetings, training sessions,



and performance reviews.
- Identify accounts requiring legal action and ensure the appropriate process is followed.
- Ensure timely and accurate updating of customer/account feedback and collection status.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of collection cases to identify gaps and improve recovery effectiveness.
- Prepare and present weekly updates/summaries for high-value and critical accounts.
- Conduct daily team huddles/stand-ups and ensure effective communication of targets and priorities.
- Ensure proper adoption and usage of required collection applications/tools by the field team.
- Keep the team updated on relevant policies, circulars, products, and services.

Candidate Profile
- 25 years of experience in people management, sales, operations, customer experience, or collections.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Good geographical knowledge of the assigned area.
- Experience in managing and motivating field teams.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of professional ethics and integrity.
- Ability to work in a target-driven and field-oriented environment.
- Qualification: Any Graduate.
