Role Description: This is a full-time hybrid Databricks Data Engineer role based in Noida, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. In this role, the Databricks Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Databricks and related cloud data platforms. The position involves developing and optimizing ETL processes, implementing data models, and supporting data warehousing solutions to enable advanced analytics and reporting.

The engineer will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure data quality, reliability, and performance. Daily responsibilities also include monitoring existing workflows, troubleshooting issues, improving data architectures,



and contributing to best practices and documentation for data engineering across projects.

Qualifications

Strong Data Engineering skills, including building and managing data pipelines and distributed processing frameworks.

Proficiency in Data Modeling, with experience designing structured and semi-structured data models to support analytics and reporting.

Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, including orchestration, performance tuning, and error handling.

Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and implementation on modern data platforms, preferably with cloud-based solutions.

Ability to leverage Data Analytics to validate data, support business insights, and collaborate with analytics and data science teams.

Practical experience working with Databricks, Spark, and at least one major cloud platform (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Robust SQL and one or more programming languages commonly used in data engineering (such as Python or Scala).

Understanding of data governance, security, and best practices for managing large-scale data environments.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Effective communication skills, ability to work in cross-functional teams, and a collaborative mindset suited to a hybrid work environment.
