Senior Data Scientist – Forecasting

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist – Forecasting with strong expertise in Time Series Forecasting, Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, and MLOps to join our growing Data Science & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and deploying production-grade forecasting solutions for business-critical use cases such as demand forecasting, sales forecasting, supply chain planning, and business planning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and deploy advanced forecasting and predictive models.
- Build scalable, production-ready forecasting pipelines.
- Develop end-to-end ML solutions from data preparation and feature engineering through deployment and monitoring.
- Apply advanced time-series forecasting techniques to business problems.
- Evaluate and continuously improve forecasting accuracy through experimentation.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Product Teams, Business Stakeholders, and Engineering Teams.
- Automate model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Establish best practices around model governance, reproducibility, and productionization.
- Mentor junior Data Scientists and contribute to the growth of the Data Science function.

Required Skills:

- 4–8 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
- Strong hands-on experience in Time Series Forecasting .
- Proven experience developing and deploying forecasting models in production environments .
- Strong knowledge of:
- ARIMA / SARIMA
- Prophet
- XGBoost / LightGBM
- LSTM / GRU
- Temporal Fusion Transformers (TFT)



or similar deep-learning forecasting models
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Strong SQL and data manipulation skills.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP .
- Experience with MLOps, model deployment, CI/CD, and production monitoring .
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and workflow orchestration is preferred.

Preferred Experience: Candidates with experience in the following domains will be preferred:

- Retail
- CPG / FMCG
- Supply Chain
- Demand Planning
- Sales Forecasting
- Business Planning / Advanced Analytics

Experience leading forecasting projects from concept to production deployment will be highly valued.
