Job Title : Assistant Manager – Data Privacy

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 6 + Years

Industry: BFSI / Financial Services / Capital Markets preferred

We are looking for a Data Privacy professional who can help ensure that personal and sensitive data is handled safely and according to applicable privacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Ensure company processes follow applicable Data Privacy and Data Protection regulations.
- Create and maintain privacy policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Conduct Privacy Risk Assessments and DPIAs for current projects and systems.
- Maintain data inventories and records of data processing activities.
- Support data retention, consent management and individual data-rights processes.
- Monitor changes in privacy laws and assess their impact.
- Support privacy audits and compliance reviews.
- Assist with data privacy incidents and breach investigations.




- Review privacy controls of vendors and third-party service providers.
- Work with Legal, Compliance, Information Security, Technology and Business teams.
- Conduct employee awareness and training on Data Privacy and Data Protection.

Candidate Profile

- 6+ years of experience in Data Privacy, Data Protection, Privacy Compliance, Information Security, Risk or GRC.
- Hands-on experience in Privacy Assessments, Privacy Compliance and Privacy Governance.
- Experience in Banking, Insurance, NBFC, Capital Markets, Stock Exchange or FinTech will be preferred.
- Good understanding of Data Privacy and Data Protection regulations.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
