About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst specializing in healthcare data to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in MS SQL, healthcare data modeling, data integration, and statistical analysis. In this role, you will play a key part in building scalable cloud infrastructure, implementing system health monitoring, and developing continuous integration pipelines.

Your insights will support critical healthcare initiatives such as value-based care, population health, and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze large healthcare datasets, create comprehensive reports, and develop data workflows that drive strategic decision-making. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience working with US healthcare datasets, including claims, benefits, and eligibility data, is essential. Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing complex healthcare data is required, along with familiarity with modern data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake and MySQL.





Experience in creating healthcare process flows and data documentation using tools like Microsoft Visio or draw.io is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to validate and transform data accurately. Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex data insights into transparent, actionable reports.

Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst in Healthcare at Persistent Systems, your responsibilities will include analyzing large-scale healthcare datasets, including claims, provider, utilization, and quality metrics. You will write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze healthcare data from relational databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Supporting data validation, reconciliation, and transformation processes will be vital to meet business and regulatory reporting requirements.

You will work closely with data engineering teams to support the ingestion and integration of data from various source systems such as claims processing platforms, provider databases, and eligibility feeds. Developing and maintaining healthcare data models, marts, and analytics layers on platforms like Snowflake and MySQL will be a core part of your role. You will also create process maps, data lineage diagrams, and system architecture visuals to document healthcare workflows, business rules, and metrics definitions.

Collaborating with stakeholders across healthcare operations, finance, clinical, quality, and compliance teams, you will translate complex healthcare data into clear insights, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams. Additionally,



you will support analytics initiatives aimed at improving healthcare quality, operational efficiency, and population health outcomes.
