Job Summary

Gavins is looking for an AI Data Analyst who can convert business data into actionable insights using data analytics, AI tools, automation, and business intelligence.

The candidate will analyze retail and wholesale sales, customer data, inventory, CRM, employee performance, walk-ins, conversions, and profitability to help management make faster and better business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Analysis

- Analyze daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal retail & wholesale sales.
- Track sales targets vs. actual performance.
- Analyze salesperson/executive-wise performance.
- Identify high-performing and low-performing products, categories and customers.
- Analyze walk-ins, conversions, repeat customers and customer purchase behavior.
- Prepare management dashboards and MIS reports.

Wholesale Analytics
- Analyze wholesale customer/order data.
- Track customer-wise, party-wise and salesperson-wise sales.
- Identify inactive, potential and high-value wholesale customers.
- Analyze repeat orders and customer retention.
- Support the wholesale team with data-driven sales opportunities.

Retail & CRM Analytics
- Analyze customer database and CRM calling data.
- Track calling performance, customer visits and conversions.
- Identify customers likely to purchase/revisit using historical data.
- Analyze campaign and offer performance.
- Provide insights to improve customer retention and conversion.

Inventory & Product Analytics
- Analyze stock movement, fast-moving and slow-moving products.
- Identify dead stock and ageing inventory.
- Support management in purchase and stock planning.
- Analyze product/category-wise sales trends.
- Prepare stock and sales forecasting reports.

AI & Automation
- Use AI tools to automate repetitive reports and analysis.




- Develop AI-based sales and customer insights.
- Use predictive analytics for sales forecasting and customer behavior.
- Explore AI tools for demand forecasting, customer segmentation and business decision-making.
- Automate MIS dashboards and recurring reports wherever possible.

Management Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports for management.
- Create dashboards using Power BI, Excel or similar BI tools.
- Present key business insights in a simple and understandable format.
- Highlight major business issues, trends and opportunities to management.
- Maintain data accuracy and ensure reports are submitted on time.

Required Skills
- Advanced MS Excel – Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, dashboards and formulas.
- Knowledge of Power BI and dashboard development.
- Solid SQL knowledge.
- Basic to intermediate Python for data analysis is preferred.
- Knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and other analytics/automation tools.
- Understanding of sales, inventory, CRM and business analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to convert complex data into simple business recommendations.

Preferred Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Data Analytics / MIS / Business Intelligence / Retail Analytics.
- Experience in retail, wholesale, apparel, fashion or FMCG will be an advantage.
- Experience working directly with management and sales teams will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
