Role Description The Counterparty Credit Risk Analyst role at PwC India is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City. The analyst will assess and monitor the creditworthiness of counterparties, perform detailed risk analysis, and support the development and maintenance of counterparty credit risk frameworks and policies.

Daily responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, analyzing exposure profiles, preparing risk reports, and supporting the approval process for new and existing counterparties. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including risk, finance, and front-office stakeholders,



to ensure that counterparty limits and risk metrics are accurately captured and aligned with internal standards. The analyst will also contribute to portfolio monitoring, stress testing, and regulatory and internal reporting, helping to enhance overall risk management practices.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills and Risk Analysis capabilities to evaluate counterparty exposures and identify emerging risks.
- Proficiency in Credit Risk Management, including counterparty assessment, limits monitoring, and risk mitigation techniques.
- Solid understanding of Finance and financial instruments, including derivatives, securities, and lending products.
- Experience in Portfolio Management or exposure monitoring, with the ability to interpret risk metrics and performance indicators.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Experience in risk management, banking, capital markets, or financial services; exposure to counterparty credit risk is an advantage.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and risk systems; familiarity with data analysis tools or programming (e.g., SQL, Python, R) is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex risk concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a agile setting.
