- We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Sr.

Controls

Engineer to join our automation and controls engineering team.

- This role is ideal for 6-8 years experienced engineer who is eager to be challenged, continuous learner, self-motivated and contribute to the design and integration of industrial automation systems.

- You will work with PLC, HMI, and SCADA technologies, primarily Siemens and Rockwell Automation, and gain exposure to motion control, servo systems, machine vision and industrial networks.

- This position offers opportunities to collaborate on real-world projects across manufacturing and process industries, both domestically as well as internationally.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the electrical machine design support for automation hardware selection, panel design and BOM preparation design.

- Review and experience of preparing electrical schematics and documentation using AutoCAD/ Eplan

- SPM (special purpose machine) programming, testing, and commissioning of PLC and HMI systems.

- Development of SCADA and data acquisition systems for automated processes.

- Perform system troubleshooting, I/O checkout, and commissioning in collaboration with cross discipline engineers.

- Responsible for in office start-ups at customer facilities in Asia pacific region as well as aboard as needed

- Ensure all designs and installations comply with U.S. electrical and safety standards (NEC, NFPA 79, UL).

- Need to work on projects with error free outputs following instructions from Project lead/ client and or independently complete the projects with instructions from client following the standards.





- Maintain clear communication and coordination with customers, project managers, and internal teams. Flexibility on assignments is important

Preferred candidate profile

Education:

- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, instrumentation Engineering,

Technical Skills:

- Siemens Servo drives, VFD (variable frequency drives) PLC controllers, HMI and SCADA development (Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC)

- Rockwell PLC platforms, Kinetix servo drives 6000, 5700, 5500 series. CompactLogix, ControlLogix, Studio 5000, Factory Talk view, PLC, HMI & software (Wonderware Intouch) development.

- Various communication topologies and its deployment on site. EthernetIP, Profinet, Profibus, Modbus

- Stratix manage/ unmanaged switches configuration

- Cognex and Keyence VISION systems selection, camera configuration, calibration

- Awareness about Industrial machine safety engineering: Standards, Hardware, networking, selection and programming (Pilz, Guardlogix PLC controllers)

- Hands-on with motion controllers, cascading of servos, VFDs.

- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD Eplan or equivalent CAD software.

- Robot interfacing, Installation and Commissioning.

Robot

Programming and teaching are added advantage

- FAT, SAT, machine installation, commissioning, troubleshoot and startup onsite

Additional Requirements

- Valid passport and eager to travel

- Commitment to maintaining a safe, ethical, and professional work environment.

- Preferred to have valid USA B1/ B2 visa

- Preferred to travelled internationally for machine/ project commissioning
