About ONDC

ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce) is a Section 8 not-for-profit initiative backed by the Government of India, building open network protocols for digital commerce — not a platform or app. It enables buyers, sellers, and service providers across e-commerce to interoperate on shared, open standards, similar to how UPI opened up digital payments. ONDC operates as public digital infrastructure at national scale, working closely with government, industry, and technology partners to expand access to digital commerce across India.

Role Overview

This role will support senior stakeholders at ONDC — including the CEO's Office — with high-quality content, documents, and presentations that inform internal decision-making and external representation. The person will work closely with leadership to translate complex, cross-functional inputs into clear narratives for decks, briefing notes, and government/ministry engagements. The scope will initially center on the CEO's Office and is expected to expand in mandate as the role and network evolve.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build presentations, briefing documents, and talking points for senior leadership, including for ministry and government stakeholder meetings
- Translate inputs from cross-functional teams (product, policy, network operations) into clear, structured narratives for internal and external audiences
- Attend ministry and stakeholder meetings alongside senior leadership; capture action items and follow through on documentation needs




- Maintain a consistent voice and visual standard across leadership communications and recurring reporting formats
- Partner with the CEO's Office to anticipate content needs ahead of key meetings, reviews, and public engagements
- Manage quick turnarounds on time-sensitive requests from senior stakeholders

Relevant Experience

- Experience supporting C-suite or senior leadership with content, communications, or executive support in a quick-paced, cross-functional environment
- Prior exposure to government, policy, or public sector stakeholder engagement is an advantage, given ONDC's positioning as a Government of India–backed initiative
- Track record of producing polished decks and documents under tight timelines with minimal oversight

Domain Preference

- Candidates from strategy consulting, corporate communications, chief of staff functions, or public policy backgrounds
- Familiarity with digital public infrastructure, open network protocols, or e-commerce ecosystems is a plus, though not mandatory

Core Skills

- Strong written and visual communication skills — PowerPoint and document design
- Ability to synthesize dense or technical information into simple narratives for senior/non-technical audiences
- Discretion and judgment in handling sensitive or confidential leadership content
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, given the evolving scope of the role
- Stakeholder management across internal teams and external (government) counterparts
